Backlist Bonanza - Stowaway now on wide release

My second book published, Stowaway, is now on wide release again, available from JMS Books and on all good ebook retailers (over the next few days as it rolls out to them.)

Stowaway

The capture of stowaway Kit Miller brings some rare excitement to the life of Raine, security chief on a deep space cargo freighter. Kit’s a fugitive, a shameless flirt and the sexiest man Raine’s ever seen, but Raine’s determined to resist him. Getting involved with Kit would be inappropriate and Raine prides himself on his rigid principles.

To Kit, Raine is just another authority figure like the ones who’ve screwed him over before, so he can’t work out why Raine makes him feel so safe. Why the muscle-bound hunk makes him so hot is easier to understand.

Eventually, desire overcomes their wariness and they begin a passionate and mostly secret affair. When Kit proves his loyalty to the crew and the ship and Raine shows Kit he’s not the kind of man Kit assumed he was, their feelings grow deeper. But the end of the voyage is looming, and they face losing each other forever unless Raine is ready to give up all he’s worked for to love a lawbreaking stowaway.

Backlist Bonanza Latest Release - Higher Ground

Higher Ground, the latest rerelease of my older M/M books, is out now on Amazon, and available on Kindle Unlimited. It will go on wide release later this year.

Higher Ground

Zach is impatient and likes to hurry. Adam likes to take it slow and to tease. But, they’d have worked it all out – if only the end of the world hadn’t gotten in the way.

Zach Benesh is sure his prediction is right – the island colony of Zahara is about to sink into the ocean. Adam Gray isn’t as certain, but he’s happy to follow the intense, brilliant geophysicist into the mountains to escape the flooding. Though he’d be even happier without three hundred other people – and their pets – tagging along.

But Zach’s prediction is right and as disaster begins to unfold towards an unstoppable, inevitable conclusion, the two young scientists must become a team in the fight to save their people. They draw strength from their rapidly developing relationship, but the higher Zach and Adam climb, the more difficult the tests they face – as lovers and as men.

Vacant Possession now on wide release

Vacant Possession, my newest indie release, is on wide release now, after a stint exclusive to Amazon. If you enjoyed my non-romance sci-fi books Shoot the Humans First and The Battle of Hollow Jimmy, then I think you'll enjoy this.

Find buy links here. At time of posting this it's still being pushed out to different retailers, and some library services, so check again for your preferred store if it's not there yet.

Vacant Possession

An alien race is trying to take ownership of the Earth, decades after rescuing the survivors of an attack which killed most of humanity. The oldest woman alive, one of the last Earth-born humans, gathers a group to launch the smallest ever invasion of the deserted planet, in a bid to reclaim their lost home.

Eighty years ago, hostile aliens scoured most of humanity from the surface of the Earth with a monstrous weapon that left the planet uninhabitable for humans. Friendly alien rescuers helped the survivors build a refuge on the moon and people from all over the world united in this new home they called Tranquillity City.

Only a handful of the original survivors are still alive. Now the city is populated by their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of those don't even think about their ancestral home planet.

But when the oldest human alive learns that the same aliens who rescued the last human survivors are petitioning the galactic court to allow them to take ownership of the uninhabited Earth, she knows what has to be done to reclaim their lost home planet.

It's time for humans to invade the Earth.

Release Day - Three Times Elspeth Harris Rode to Town

It's new book day again. Something a bit different for me, a historical, set in the Old West. See there was a writing prompt, and I got an idea and here we are. It's a short novella, about 20,000 words long.

Three Times Elspeth Harris Rode to Town

Three summer weddings bring Elspeth to town, kindling an urge in Rose to learn more about her. Rose learns they have many ideas in common, and hopes she can learn Elspeth’s secrets before summer ends.

There had never been as much excitement in the town of Ghostbrook as there was the day Elspeth Harris faced trial for shooting a man. But it’s a clear case of self-defense, and she’s soon free to attend a wedding, where she meets Rose O’Sullivan, the town’s only seamstress, and engages her to make some unusual alterations.

Rose knows Elspeth has a secret she is protecting, one Rose has only seen hints of. As a lover of dime novels and tales of adventure, Rose’s imagination runs wild. Could Elspeth be a government agent? An undercover lady Pinkerton?

When they meet again at another wedding and share confidences about their lives and the difficulties of being a woman alone in the world, Rose grows ever more intrigued by the mysterious Elspeth. What secrets lie behind her beautiful, but aloof exterior?

Rose will finally learn those secrets when the third wedding of the summer comes around and with it, a bold proposal.

More Backlist Bonanza books and a hint about what's coming soon!

The Backlist Bonanza continues

Liar's Waltz, the first book of the Travellers series (and my first ever published book!) is now on wide release - it's available right now on JMS books, and will show up on Smashwords and other ebook retailers in a couple of days.

Bar owner Karl thinks his new lover is an ally in the fight to save Eternity — the last gay bar on space station Saira. But Greg is actually a reluctant spy desperately trying to salvage his military career.

Available now on JMS Books

Stowaway, the second book of the series, is now on Amazon. It will be exclusively on Amazon for three months and then go on wide release. While exclusive on Amazon it will be available on Kindle Unlimited.

Bedding stowaway Kit is a bad idea for cargo freighter security chief Raine. Kit agrees - he’s been screwed over enough by authority. But they can’t resist the attraction even though they face being parted for good at the end of the voyage.
